If you submit data which you know to be knowingly false and a complaint is received from the tenant in question then the tenant could take legal action against you.
You must have express written consent from the tenant to submit them to our database or conduct a check on them.
As a member you can download a tenancy application form which incorporates the necessary consent document. Alternatively you can download just the legal consent document to use in conjunction with your own tenancy application forms or contracts.
