The member is the person who has signed up as a
member of Tenant Check Worldwide in order to submit
or check a tenant.
“We”, “Our” or “Us” refers to Tenant Check Worldwide
and its directors, employees and any of its
divisions or sister sites.
“You” refers to the member.
Tenant Check Worldwide is an online facility which
allows members to share information regarding a
previous or current tenant. As a member of Tenant
Check Worldwide you are agreeing to the following
terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them:

Members must complete the
sign up form to register as a member and
must be an owner/landlord, property manager,
accommodation provider or letting agency.
The information submitted when signing up
must be true and accurate. The member agrees
that they are not a bail bond company, debt
collector, investigative company,
journalist, dating or news agency, lawyer,
or have been involved in any credit fraud
involvement or unethical business practice
and that they require this service only for
the purpose of letting a property. Tenant
Check Worldwide reserve the right to disable
a member's account if it is established that
the information submitted by a member when
they sign up is incomplete and/or inaccurate.
Members should notify us of any changes to
their personal data.

to submit information regarding a previous
tenant or to retrieve information on a
potential new tenant. This information must
only be used for the purpose of assessing
tenancy and not for any other reason
and the member agrees to this.

Members can only submit
information or conduct a check regarding a
tenant if they have received express
written consent from the tenant to do
this. As a member of Tenant Check Worldwide
you have the option to use our application
form for tenancy which has this agreement on
it and which the prospective tenant is
required to sign and agree to. Alternatively
for those who have their own application
form, members can download the legal consent
document which the prospective tenant is
required to sign and agree to and which can be used in conjunction
with their own application form. These
documents explain the purpose for which the
member will be processing the information
and the disclosure of this information to
the Tenant Check Worldwide database/3rd
party. The member
must retain the written consent form for the
duration that the information is stored on
the site.

submitted by a member must be true and
accurate.

Members must have
adequate evidence to support the information
submitted. This evidence must be retained by
the member whilst the record is listed on
the site.

The member is responsible

controller. It is the member’s
responsibility to maintain their records and
the information held on them. Any errors or
omissions must be notified to Tenant Check
Worldwide immediately. The member is
accountable for the records held about their

The member must not
use the site to submit or access
information on themselves, family or friends

The member agrees to
request the information for their one off
personal use and has a reasonable and
permissible purpose for obtaining a check.

Members must not submit a
tenant by relying on information from a
third party.

Tenant Check Worldwide is
not a credit reference agency. The site is
used for others to share their experiences.

Tenant Check Worldwide
reserves the right to immediately remove any
information which is established as being
false, malicious, illegal, obscene,
harassing, offensive, abusive, inaccurate,
libellous or defamatory. The member agrees
not to submit such information.

reserves the right to suspend any member at
any time if it is established that the
member has knowingly submitted false or
misleading information about a tenant.

Tenant Check Worldwide
will hold all members details. Each member
will have a unique member number and each
record will have a unique record number.
Member's details will be held by Tenant
Check Worldwide and will not be passed onto
any external agency unless required or
permitted to do so by law, or the member
breaches the Privacy Policy, or to operate its
systems properly or to protect itself and/or
its users.

Each record will show the
submitting member’s ID number but not the
submitting member's
personal details.

The member is prohibited
from allowing a third party to access the
system. Access to the system is restricted
to Tenant Check Worldwide members only. The
member agrees that they will not access the system on behalf
of a third party.

Tenant Check Worldwide is
not responsible for any action that you take
as a result of information obtained from
this site.

The member is prohibited
from supplying or disclosing a record to a
third party.

The member is prohibited

retrieved from Tenant Check Worldwide.

necessary precautions to ensure that the
contents of a record are held securely and
confidentially. The contents of a record must
then be disposed
of in a secure way (ideally shredded) when
no longer required.

that they keep their username and password

and responsibility for any information
submitted or retrieved using these details.

In the event of a
complaint being received by Tenant Check
Worldwide from an individual and it is felt
to be a reasonable and justifiable complaint
then the record may be removed and the
member's details may be revealed to the
complainant for them to pursue any further
action they may wish to take.

If requested by a tenant, the member should
provide them with the Tenant Check Worldwide
website and email address.

Tenant Check Worldwide reserve the right to
conduct random checks on members and their
submitted records and inquiries made. This
especially applies prior to full membership
being granted.

Members may be required to supply evidence
to Tenant Check Worldwide regarding
themselves or a record submitted so that the
information submitted can be verified.

Tenant Check Worldwide cannot guarantee the
accuracy of a record as it is submitted by a
third party and Tenant Check Worldwide
cannot certify that the submitting member is
genuine. Tenant Check Worldwide cannot
guarantee the future behaviour of a tenant.
Tenant Check Worldwide is excluded from any
liabilities that may arise due to
inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Members
cannot rely on Tenant Check Worldwide for
the accuracy of the information submitted.

employees are in no way liable for any
claims, losses, expenses, damages or costs,
including loss of reputation and goodwill,
resulting from the disclosure or publication
of a report or use of this site. The member
agrees to exclude Tenant Check Worldwide and
its directors and employees from any
liabilities arising from any disputes
between the member and a third party.

change the cost for accessing this system at
any time. Any new prices will be applicable
immediately.

Payments can be made by credit or debit card,
processed by PayPal, our online card payment
provider. Alternatively you can pay directly
from your own PayPal account if you have one.
Tenant Check Worldwide can not see the
payment details. Tenant Check Worldwide does not accept payments directly. Any problems
with payment should be directed to PayPal or
your credit/debit card provider.

Payments must be processed and received in
full by Tenant Check Worldwide before the
member can conduct a tenant check.

The monthly subscription will automatically
be debited each month from your credit/debit
card or your PayPal account. If you wish to
cancel this payment you must contact PayPal
or send an email to Tenant Check Worldwide.
No refunds will be given if there is a delay
for any reason in cancelling this
subscription.

If a member cancels a monthly subscription
no refunds will be made in respect of the
monthly fee.
|
|

If no records are found on a particular
tenant no refunds will be paid.
|

Tenant Check Worldwide reserves the right to
remove or suspend any information submitted
by a member at any time. No refunds will be
given.

The member has the right
to request a copy of the information we hold
regarding them personally and has the right
to modify or delete this information from
our records.

The member agrees to cooperate fully with
any audits.

signing up for marketing purposes or to
